THE PERSPECTIVE OF TIME

________________________

Just as the expanse of space and geography offer a valuable perspective that takes us out of our often introvert preoccupations, the encounter with places that are very old also can have a tranqulising effect. The two cottages on Glenfeshie estate are build in the mid Victorian. As the name suggests, the Kennels cottage used to be basic accommodation for the kennel man whos job was to breed and train the estates working dogs.

The cottage bear witness to the Scottish traditions of hunting and sheltering people from the harsh but stunning nature.
Kennels Cottage is wonderfully situated in the Cairngorm National Park on the bank of the River Feshie offering breathtaking views of the glen with ancient pine forest and the hills beyond.
