Glenfeshie Estate is not only part of the history of Scotland. It is also an important part of the owners’ life. The estate was love at first sight and it was the first step toward a fantastic undertaking bringing back the original natural habitats and wildlife of the area, as well as bringing momentum in the traditional Scottish hospitality industry for private estates.

We are here to help and are happy to talk through with you any aspects of your booking. Nothing is more important to us that you having an unforgettable stay with us. Knowing our property and the Highlands intimately we use our experience to tailor make your stay. Making a reservation for one or more of the properties at Glenfeshie Estate is straightforward; You either call us or start by sending us an email with your requirements. To secure your booking we kindly ask for 50% deposit at the time of booking and the final 50% one month prior to arrival.

Coire Domhain in the heart of the Glenfeshie Estate is the perfect Scottish retreat. Decorated in traditional Highland style, the muted colour palette of greens and grey’s mirrors the far-reaching views of the magnificent landscape on your doorstep. The cottage is available from Sunday to Sunday, or for shorter stays by arrangement.

Book Kennels Cottage

A cosy hideaway in the forest. Relax in front of a roaring fire in a traditional leather wingback chair in the wood panelled sitting room framed in with wonderful sporting oil paintings, after a day hiking, stalking or fishing on the estate. Then clamber upstairs to your snug bedroom in the eaves and snuggle down under the softest quilts. The cottage is available from Saturday to Saturday, or for shorter stays by arrangement.

Glenfeshie Estate is in the Cairngorms National Park in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. It feels far away from the buzz and urban centres of Europe but is in fact easy accessible from any major airport.


 

BY CAR

From the north or the south, follow the A9 and take the turning off the A9 to Kincraig/Kingussie and follow the B9152 to Kincraig. At Kincraig turn where signposted Insh and Loch Insh Watersports. Follow this road over a bridge and past the watersports on your right. At the junction at the top of the hill turn right signposted Insh. After about half a mile there is a small fork to the left marked dead end as the road swings to the right. This fork is in front of quite a large house. Take the dead-end fork to the left, sign posted Glenfeshie and follow this road eight or so miles up Glenfeshie private road. Please note a small section of this road is not tarmacked - keep going the tarmac will resume. You will eventually come to a range of estate buildings – keep going , past a white house on your right and keep right at a fork into Glenfeshie Lodge.

Please be aware of average speed cameras on the A9. The maximum speed on the road is 60 miles per hour. Where the road is dual carriageway – the maximum speed is 70 miles per hour.


by air

Glenfeshie is easily access able from all major Scottish airports including Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen International Airports, which are under three hours drive from us. Inverness is our nearest airport a short one hour drive away and has excellent connecting flights through London with British Airways, Easyjet and Fly Be. We also have a connecting flight with Amsterdam operated by KLM. Our team are happy to recommend airport transfers. Unfortunately there it is not appropriate to land a helicopter near the lodge.


by train

Our local train Station is Kingussie or Aviemore and there are good connections from Inverness in the North and both Edinburgh and Glasgow in the South. Kingussie station is a 30 minute drive from Glenfeshie.
